Ever thought about your children or grand children, will they be having all the that you have or have you thought about your grandparents or parents, do you have everything that they used to have? This is a big question guys and we must understand how important it is to think about it. On a daily basis we can see reports of increase in global warming, water pollution, air pollution and what not. Yesterday i was reading a report that The average temperature over India is projected to rise by 4.4 degrees Celsius, while the intensity of heat waves is likely to increase by 3-4 times by the end of the century, according to a government report on the impact of climate change on the country. This actually shock me and I without stopping myself got into this deep thought , who is responsible for this degradation, whose responsibility is it to keep the environment clean, is it of the government? even if the governments do make laws or start campaigns, it is the responsibility of every individual to keep their environment clean.
When ever i see these types of images i feel pity. This is not how this river should look like. Now is the time we must take steps and the smallest step could be to promote SUSTAINABLE DEVELOPMENT. Sustainable development means using our resources without their exploitation and save them for future generations. In most of the countries use of single use plastic is most prevalent and this needs to stop. Plastic has proved to be the biggest bane in our society which might appear to be most helpful and needful on a smaller basis but actually pollutes our environment for a very long time. Its time we start using cloth bags instead of plastic bags, use metal or glass bottles instead of plastic bottles. Also guys we should always think about donating things which are still in a good condition to use but we do not want them. As a part of this earth and in the name of humanity I request you all to please try and contribute as much as possible to save our mother earth and promote sustainable development.
